Who we are

iSymulacje is a specialized brand of Spectropol, in business since 2003. We distribute professional optical and photonic simulation software for engineers, scientists, and universities across Central and Eastern Europe — including Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Ukraine.

We have been working in engineering simulation since 2013, when we became the authorized distributor of Lumerical simulation software for Central and Eastern Europe. Over a decade we built experience and expertise in this field. The market's and our portfolio's evolution led us to our current specialization — distributing Lambda Research Corporation and Optiwave tools, which we believe best match the needs of engineers in the region.

We combine practical product knowledge, built on over 20 years of experience selling optoelectronic components and products, with a deep understanding of engineers' needs in the region and access to the world's best simulation tools.

We are the authorized distributor of two manufacturers:

• Lambda Research Corporation (USA) — creators of TracePro, OSLO, and RayViz software
• Optiwave Systems Inc. (Canada) — creators of OptiSystem, OptiFDTD, OptiOmega, and seven other photonics tools

Authorization means direct access to manufacturer technical support, the latest software versions, academic licensing programs, and official training certifications.

What we do

We supply software and provide full support for its deployment and everyday use:

• License sales — commercial, academic, and government licenses for all Lambda Research and Optiwave products. We offer single-seat, network (floating), and subscription (lease) licenses tailored to each client.
• Trial versions — we arrange free trial periods: 14 days for Lambda Research products, 30 days for Optiwave. We help with installation and first setup.
• Technical support — we answer substantive and technical questions with a response time of up to 1 business day, working with the manufacturer's engineers for complex cases.
• Training — we run training on Lambda Research and Optiwave software, both remotely and on-site, individually and in groups.
• Consulting — we advise on selecting the right software for specific projects in lighting optics, photonics, telecommunications, and sensing.

Lambda Research Corporation

Lambda Research Corporation, headquartered in Littleton, Massachusetts, USA, has been in business since 1992. The company specializes in software for designing and analyzing optical and lighting systems. Its products — TracePro, OSLO, and RayViz — are used by engineers and scientists in over 80 countries.

TracePro has been used in NASA projects, including the analysis of the James Webb Space Telescope, Mars Rover mission instruments, and the ICESat-2 satellite. Lambda Research Corporation was founded from a NASA SBIR grant.

Spectropol is the authorized distributor of Lambda Research Corporation for Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Ukraine.

Optiwave Systems Inc.

Optiwave Systems Inc., headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, has been in business since 1994. The company creates software for photonics, optoelectronics, and optical network engineers. Optiwave's portfolio includes 9 products — from OptiSystem for WDM network simulation, through OptiFDTD and OptiOmega for photonic component design, to OptiGrating for Bragg gratings.

Optiwave software is licensed by over 1,000 institutions in more than 60 countries, including leading technical universities and research institutes.

Spectropol is the authorized distributor of Optiwave for Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Ukraine.
