On a modest budget, a reliable multi-sensor network with a channel spacing of just 0.15 nm was designed and verified in Optiwave software before physically ordering the sensors and interrogators.
Software used

The design of a single Bragg grating (reflection spectrum, apodization) is calculated in OptiGrating, while the behavior of the entire multichannel WDM-interrogated sensor network is handled in OptiSystem. Together, they let you choose channel spacing and check for crosstalk before ordering hardware.
